Location: Burgh Island (Live-in accommodation is available, subject to availability. This starts at £25.00 per week) 
Salary: £11.44 per hour + 10% commission 
Hours : part-time and full-time hours available 
Want to work at one of the most magnificent hotels in Devon as a Spa Therapist. 
This hotel is an iconic landmark and retreat, positioned on a wildly beautiful and secluded tidal Burgh island and your role as a Spa therapist will be to provide advice to all guests using the Spa on treatments, products, and related Spa services whilst also carrying out beauty treatments to the required standards. 
Responsibilities for the role: 
• Attend any appropriate training courses required 
• Ensure that equipment is fully operational and clean and report any defects to maintenance 
• Turn off equipment and lights after use. 
• Carry out beauty treatments ensuring treatment time is adhered to 
• Ensure all equipment and utensils are appropriately sterilised. 
• Be punctual at all times. 
• Maintain positive employee relations 
• Provide a consistently high standard of customer service 
• Ensure complaints are dealt with promptly and efficiently 
• Attend meetings as required 
• Ensure consistently and unfailingly that confidentiality procedures are followed about staff and guests 
• Maintain open communications with staff to promote positive employee relations 
• Provide regular performance management to therapists and provide annual PDP meeting 
• Ensure the Spa areas are clean and well-maintained 
• Answer the phone, take reservations, and deal with any inquiries 
General duties: 
• Assist with other departments as necessary. 
• Maintain a register of visiting maintenance/service companies. 
• Report accidents or incidents promptly and correctly. 
• You are expected to be presentable at all times. 
• Make sure there is always someone at the reception at all operational times
