Charity CEO

 

The Disability Resource Centre (DRC) is seeking an experienced and passionate Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation in achieving its mission of supporting disabled people in our community. 

 

The Disability Resource Centre is a non-profit organisation that provides a range of services to disabled people in our community. They are committed to creating an inclusive and equitable society where all people, regardless of their abilities, can thrive. 

 

The CEO will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the DRC, ensuring the delivery of its strategic outcomes and operational objectives. This includes developing and implementing strategic plans, managing financial resources, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and overseeing all aspects of the organisation's operations. 

• Lead the development and implementation of the DRC's strategic plan. 

• Oversee all aspects of the organisation's operations, including finance, human resources, and program delivery. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including funders, partners, and the community. 

• Represent the DRC at community events and advocate for the needs of disabled people. 

• Ensure the organisation's financial sustainability and compliance with all relevant regulations. 

Qualifications: 

• A degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, public administration, or social work. 

• At least five years of experience in a senior leadership role within a non-profit organisation. 

• Experience in the disability sector is preferred. 

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

• A passion for supporting the rights and well-being of disabled people.
